Rating Verb Examples

Rating is an interesting verb in that it results in some alphanumeric evaluation (A-z, 0-9, 1-100, etc) of some object.

YouTube

YouTube has a five-star rating system for users to rate videos.  There are both words and numeric values for ratings:

# Stars Words Rating Value
1 Poor 1.0
2 Nothing Special 2.0
3 Worth watching 3.0
4 Pretty cool 4.0
5 Awesome! 5.0

If you open the "Statistics and Data" section under a video, you will see a "Average Rating" with two decimal places (ex: 4.32)
