Verb

The verb is the property in the activity that allows the publisher to specify the type of action which was done by the actor. Properly parsing the verb will allow to form sentences of the form: actor verb object and aggregate multiple activities together.

Example: Tomas is attending "Farewell Party" and "Black Eyed Peas in NY 2010"

Verbs are specified using keywords from our registry (for background, see our page on Namespaces).

New verbs can be introduced by any publisher but it is recommended that these derive from an existing approved verb so that the activities can be rendered as close as possible to the meaning intended but without the specific knowledge.
